Born in 1985, Nicky Troubles grew up in The Windy City. Influenced by Metallica, Slayer, STP and The Smashing Pumpkins. Records like Soundbombing 1 & 2, Gang Starr's Hard To Earn made a huge impact. After that he was recreating the beats he heard on those albums. With his dad's record player and both his parents record collection, he started exploring and creating beats.
